Imagine starting your morning with a walk out the back door to enjoy a cup of coffee in your garden hot tub, or just relax before bed with a lazy soak in the backyard hot tub under the stars, and installing a hot tub in the backyard house or garden. If all sound tempting to you, here are some things to consider when deciding where and whether to put YOU hot tub in the backyard.
Where are you going to put it?
You should plan the location of the hot tub you carefully. A hot tub on the patio or deck may sound wonderful – but will need reinforcement to carry that much weight safely. In addition to structural considerations, there is practically a much more pleasant to consider. Do you want close to home – perhaps right outside your bedroom sliders so you can slip in and out of it easily? Choose a place for backyard hot tub that provides privacy, beauty and comfort.
Do you have space?
A hot tub may look small, but even the smallest hot tubs weigh hundreds of pounds – thousands when filled with water. You must find the space for the control of plumbing and well – and if you need the security fence around your bathtub, you should also take consideration when you plan for your garden hot tub.
Do you want a seasonal or year-round hot tub?
If you want to use the hot tub year round, weather discuss the examination with a construction company, and while you’re at it, consider a gazebo roof or similar protection is also a rainy day.
What zoning regulations in your area?
Regulations may require a locked privacy fence around the park, or at least around the hot tub itself to prevent drowning. In many cities and towns, outdoor backyard hot tubs require the same protection as a swimming pool.
If you select the ground or above ground garden hot tub?
Options strict preference issue. Garden soil in a hot tub can be integrated with the garden in your backyard – but with the right surround (garden gazebo? A glass?) So above ground hot tub spa. Price is another consideration here – that in-ground hot water will require excavation that will make both construction and maintenance more expensive.
How large hot tub that you want?
Do you want to invite the neighbors or coworkers to party with your garden in the hot tub once in a while? A 4-8 person tub is not that much more expensive, and gives you a choice for pleasure and entertainment. A two-person hot tub is comfortable and romantic, but garden hot tub can trigger some of the entertaining and beautiful.
